"Migrant"

2001 when it all really began for me. 'Sighthill' was a place for refugees. Sighthill had its ups and downs but people say that if you could make it out of sighthill you could make it anywhere. Most of the people living in sight-hill become very close with each other. It was not always happy days there was always a stories about this person and that person leaving.

My dad had a church in sighthill most African migrants came to our church. I remember every service like it was yesterday. We was always praying about the same thing. That green card. I was to young to really understand but I could see in some peoples eyes how important that green card was to them.
